Taking care of your land is a big job. MALT can help.

Landowners, tenants or land managers working on land with a MALT easement are eligible to apply for grants up to $20,000 to help plan, design, and implement conservation practices that protect soil and water quality and bolster agricultural productivity. Landowners working in partnership or actively in contract with a partner agency such as the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the Marin Resource Conservation District (MRCD), or California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) may be eligible for grants up to $50,000. All awarded grants require a minimum 15% landowner cost-share.
