Reporting to the CEO, the COO is a full-time position responsible for managing the organization’s day-to-day operations to accomplish the goals and objectives of MALT’s strategic and annual operating plans. This includes finances, human resources onboarding and offboarding support, information technology, and facilities; and managing MALT’s core real estate programs and easement stewardship monitoring obligations. The COO oversees, directs, and mentors the work of the Conservation and Operations teams, currently consisting of four and two staff, respectively. The COO works collaboratively as a member of the MALT leadership team to formulate and implement policies and plans to meet the organization’s short and long-term objectives and ensure departmental goal achievement. As MALT’s second-in-command, the COO partners with the CEO to plan the organization’s future growth, respond to changing conditions and needs, and operationalize new programs and initiatives. A Sustainable Management Program Manager to support innovative research and scaling of climate-smart practices on agricultural easements in West Marin. The Sustainable Management Program manager is a 12-month fixed-term exempt position responsible for coordinating and reporting on projects for MALT’s science, and regenerative agriculture program. The position will provide the metrics and coordination needed to support a thriving and sustainable agricultural economy on MALT protected farming and ranching operations. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Development and Planned Giving Officer (DPGO) is a member of the advancement team. What you will do: Build out a planned giving program; manage a major gifts portfolio that integrates planned giving; support and educate the team, donors and prospects about planned giving.
