Senior Land Acquisition Specialist

The Senior Land Acquisition Specialist acts as a project manager leading a team of professional, technical, and administrative staff to work on complex land conservation projects. This position identifies, develops, and implements new land protection strategies and tools. Specific duties include negotiating land acquisition and disposition terms, drafting conservation easement language to protect identified conservation values, commissioning and overseeing the preparation and approval of independent appraisals and other technical reports, and presenting reports to boards and committees in public meetings. Learn more and apply.

Land Acquisition Assistant

The Land Acquisition Assistant will participate in many aspects of our land conservation projects, including processing new conservation easement and land access applications from landowners interested in MALT programs, evaluating potential conservation projects, developing project maps using GIS and other software, and providing general real estate and program support to the MALT’s Conservation team. MALT seeks a marketing and communications professional with 10-15 years of related experience for the position of Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications. In collaboration with the Director, Marketing & Communications, this person is responsible for the creation of all content, public relations efforts, and community engagement initiatives to advance MALT’s brand, reputation, fundraising campaigns, and programmatic work. Applicant must be able to design, manage, and execute on a wide range of responsibilities, from the creation of engaging print and digital content to identifying a diverse cohort of audiences, agency partners, businesses, local agriculturists, and community members to advance MALT’s work in the region. MALT seeks a digital marketing communications and community engagement professional with 7-10 years of related experience. Working with the marketing team, this person will help design and implement an integrated marketing and communications plan using a wide range of social media, email marketing, digital communications, and community engagement strategies to advance MALT’s vision, outreach, fundraising efforts, and programmatic work. They must be able to manage the work streams associated with a wide range of responsibilities ranging from event management and digital marketing design, to connecting with a diverse audience of community members, donors, agency/community partners, businesses, and local agriculturists.
