September Events in Marin

August 30, 2023

It’s heating up this September, as the marine layer that keeps Marin cool tends to weaken, typically making September and October our warmest months. Stay cool with indoor cheese tastings and virtual events, check out our list of Marin hikes that will tend to have cooler temps, and have fun in the sun with an array of outdoor activities while donning your sun hat.

From farmers’ markets and fairs where you may encounter Marin’s agricultural producers, volunteer opportunities and clean up days in our open spaces, and more. Visit a ranch for a harvest supper, take a hike or bike ride past the protected landscapes, making the most of the region’s bounty.

The beautiful vistas of MALT-protected land you see as you explore the region support our thriving agricultural community, sustain biodiverse habitats, and connect us to our local food and fiber producers.

We hope you will get outside this September and enjoy all the events in Marin (and nearby) throughout the month. Use these buttons to hop to different sections that interest you most.
