A Morning with the Grossis at Marindale Ranch
Join MALT at Marindale Ranch, also known as the Grossi Family Home Ranch, on Friday, October 3, 2025, 9:00 –10:00 am for a special donor coffee. Meet Ralph and Judy Grossi to learn more about their ranch and its operations, MALT-protected since 2003. After the coffee you have the option to explore the ranch on two newly opened to the public hikes.
Ralph is a third-generation rancher and one of the nation’s leading voices in farmland conservation. Ralph was instrumental in the founding of MALT in 1980, working alongside co-founders Ellen Straus and Phyllis Faber, and later served as president of the American Farmland Trust for over two decades.
About Marindale Ranch
This 870-acre property located in Novato overlooks scenic Stafford Lake and has views of the San Francisco Bay. The ranch is home to grass-fed cattle, pinot noir vineyards, honeybees, and diverse landscapes from grasslands to redwood forests. It’s a place you won’t want to miss.
