Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to explore the effects of your Measure A funds at work by hiking Millerton Creek Ranch with MALT
Millerton Creek Ranch, Measure A funded and MALT-protected since 2018, is home to beef cattle and the pasture-raised hens of Tomales Bay Pastures. There may be an opportunity to buy their fresh ranch eggs at the hike!
The 862 windswept acres of Millerton Creek Ranch sit just east of Highway 1 between Point Reyes Station and Marshall. Steelhead and coho salmon have historically traveled from Tomales Bay up Millerton Creek to spawn, and the creek, which carves steep ravines through the ranch, continues to provide essential wildlife habitat.
You are welcome to do as much or as little of this hike, which is a moderate route, about 5 miles total, and may be slippery if it rains. Along the hike you will experience beautiful rolling hills and views of Tomales Bay.
This is a self-guided hike, feel free to arrive between the hours of 10 am – 11 am. All hikers must be off property by 1 pm.
