We invite you to join MALT for a free hike and tour of Black Mountain Ranch, where you can get a glimpse of how they steward the land, while you connect with nature and our community on this MALT-protected ranch.
Home to beef cattle, vegetable and flower growers, beekeepers, sheep and goats, and fiber producers, the nearly 1,200-acre Black Mountain Ranch lies over Black Mountain just outside Point Reyes Station.
The executive director of Black Mountain Ranch, Tom Lamar, will provide an orientation to the mountain before embarking on an hour-long moderate hike together. There will be snacks and drinks after.
Registration is required, as space is limited. This event is open to all MALT supporters as well as the public.
