A celebration honoring MALT’s Legacy Giving Circle members
Join us on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 12:30 – 2:30 pm for a special gathering for Legacy Giving Circle members at Zia’s Farmhouse, a recently restored 150-year-old farmhouse on the rolling hills of Stemple Creek Ranch.
It’s a unique opportunity to see the lands that your legacy commitment will continue to impact for decades to come. Surrounded by the landscape you help protect, we’ll share a meal, learn more about the local history, and recognize your role in preserving our agricultural heritage.
You’ll get to:
- Learn about the history of farming and ranching in Marin from local historian Dewey Livingston, one of the region’s leading voices on land and community.
- Experience a restored 1870s farmhouse whose character and sweeping views over the ranch provide a fitting backdrop for the day.
- Enjoy locally sourced fare featuring products from the farms and ranches your legacy gift helps protect.
- Connect with fellow Legacy Giving Circle members and hear updates on our land protection and stewardship work.
Stemple Creek Ranch is a great example of regenerative ranching and land stewardship. For generations, the Poncia family has managed this land with attention to soil, water, wildlife, and community – showing what thoughtful conservation can achieve. Today, their operations span multiple MALT-protected Marin County ranches.
