As we wrap up yet another successful public event season, we here at MALT want to share some of the amazing highlights of these experiences, and thank all those who made these events possible: our volunteers, our host ranches, and our generous sponsors.

Why We Hold Events on the Land
These hands-on experiences offer something you simply can’t get from reading about conservation work online or in newsletters. When you stand in a restored creek bed, watch rotational grazing in practice, or taste cheese made from grass-fed cattle on protected pastures, the impact of agricultural land conservation becomes real and personal. Our events transform abstract concepts into tangible understanding, helping visitors see firsthand how working landscapes can thrive while preserving Marin County’s natural beauty for future generations.

This past season, we highlighted how agriculture and conservation go hand in hand and showcased the innovative work of Marin’s changemaking farmers and ranchers. Together, we are making a difference.
