Marin Election Results Show What Voters Really Want

Every election teaches lessons. This past June primary was no exception. Marinites have a soft spot for parks, preserving open spaces and perpetuating Marin’s rural heritage. The landslide victory of Measure A shouldn’t have been a surprise. That was the measure to continue Marin’s one-quarter cent sales tax to fund parks, open space acquisition and purchase easements to guarantee farm land remains permanently in agriculture. The tax passed, receiving  a 75% supermajority.
