Supporter Spotlight: Cate Celso

December 6, 2021

MALT depends on donations to fulfill our mission to permanently protect Marin’s agricultural land for agricultural use. We appreciate everyone who supports our efforts, in whatever ways are possible.

Please meet Cate Celso, and learn more about why she supports MALT.

Cate Celso: A Workplace Ambassador of Giving

A documentary filmmaker and East Coast native, Cate Celso fell in love with the ranches and farms of West Marin through MALT’s hikes and events on the land. As a result of these experiences, she not only donates to MALT but also volunteers at events, becoming more deeply involved in community-focused regenerative agriculture and addressing climate change.

Cate has become something of an unofficial MALT ambassador at her workplace, Adobe, where she’s an executive assistant in the digital media department. She shares our mission and work with fellow Adobe team members, encouraging others to donate and double the impacts of their gifts through Adobe’s corporate matching gift program.

“It’s so easy to take a few simple steps and have Adobe match my gifts,” says Cate. “Not only am I seeing my impact doubled, but I’m also further building a community of philanthropy at work. My colleagues often want to give but don’t know where. I love serving as a resource, pointing them toward good organizations like MALT.”
