Don’t Forget Your DAF!

Peter Fugazzotto - MALT

By Peter Fugazzotto, Director, Communications

June 11, 2019

If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), making gifts to MALT is fast and easy! With just a few clicks online, you can initiate a charitable grant to MALT from your DAF.

Many DAF providers allow donors to schedule grants to charitable recipients ahead of time, whether on a one-time or recurring basis.

Donating appreciated, noncash assets you’ve held for more than one year — like publicly held stock, restricted or privately held stock, and real estate — to your DAF can be a tax-wise way to support MALT while eliminating capital gains taxes.
