Your Feedback Drives Our Commitment to Community: 2024 Survey Results

Earlier this year we sent a survey to our wonderful MALT supporters, asking what you thought about our work, our mission, and the things that matter to you.
We are incredibly grateful to the 143 who participated and thank you for sharing your time with us. We love hearing from you, as your support drives our work and helps us to permanently protect Marin’s open space.

What part of our mission is most important to you?
Most respondents aligned with our mission and find it important that we protect and preserve the land, community, and agriculture.
It was great to see so many supporting our core work, as well as familiarity with other important themes of MALT’s mission like climate change and biodiversity.
Interestingly connection and community building also emerged as important issues for our supporters.
Which MALT events are you likely to attend?
Unsurprisingly, most respondents like attending events that showcase the amazing farms, ranches, and open space that we work so hard to protect.
Small gatherings were slightly preferred to large events, and intimate, food focused events were popular.
The survey also revealed several opportunities to increase the accessibility of our events with more diverse locations, formats, and accommodations.

We asked our audience several questions about what we do well and how we can improve.
We are incredibly grateful and proud that the majority of respondents gave overwhelmingly positive feedback.
We received insightful responses and several ideas from the community about how to address emerging issues and safeguard the greater community. We look forward to implementing this feedback in the future as we continue protecting Marin’s farmland forever.
