You Answered and We Are Listening: Supporter Survey Results

In August of this year, we sent you, our fabulous MALT supporters, a survey so we could hear what you thought about our work, your experience with us and the things that matter to you.
More than 500 of you responded and we are so grateful that you took the time to share with us. We love to hear from our supporters because we are all in this together and you matter to us.

Question 1: What program areas matter to you?
We had a wealth of responses with the largest group of people expressing support for all the work we do, followed closely by our core work to protect farmland forever. We are encouraged that you all are aligned so strongly with our mission.
We also are excited to see your interest in the program areas where we continue to grow: ecology, food and community, climate and the economy.
We will continue to share the work we are doing in these areas, so you can further understand our work.

Question 2: Have you included MALT in your estate planning?
We were overwhelmed by how many of you have shared that you will be leaving a legacy to protect Marin’s farms and ranches forever.

Question 3: What kinds of foods do you love?
The local food we eat is connected to the lands that we protect together.
While cheese was a favorite in the survey, many of you also love the fresh produce, eggs, dairy and meats available from MALT-protected farms and ranches.

Question 4: How are we doing?
This section of the survey was actually comprised of several questions about whether we thank you promptly, answer your questions in a timely manner, and how well we explain how your donations are used to advance our mission.
We are so grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response and that you feel that we are meeting your needs as a part of our community.
