Metallica’s Hetfield offers more Lucas Valley land; building plans uncertain

“Metallica co-founder James Hetfield and his wife Francesca are offering to dedicate another 240 acres of their Lucas Valley property for an agricultural conservation easement, increasing the amount of land they have dedicated to 1,000 acres. It is unclear exactly what if any effect these dedications might have on the Hetfields’ previously stated interest in building four, single-family houses on 40 acres of their remaining land.”
