Marin’s parks tax measure garners strong majority

It appears all but certain that Measure A  will garner the two-thirds voter support needed to pass in Tuesday’s statewide primary election. With all precincts reporting and 31,731 ballots counted, the measure – which would renew a quarter-cent sales tax to support parks, open space and sustainable agriculture in Marin County – had 74.83% support. It needs 66% to pass.
