Here’s a fun — and delicious — opportunity! This summer and fall MALT is hosting a booth at the Point Reyes Farmers’ Market, at which we’ll showcase some of the amazing foods produced on MALT-protected farms and ranches!

We’ve dubbed this great new tradition “Meet the Locals,” as it will give you an opportunity to do just that. So come on out to taste incredible foods and get to know your MALT farmers and ranchers!

Here is everything you need to know:

First Saturday of every month, July – November

Bivalve Dairy Cheese Tasting

Saturday, July 6

Bivalve Dairy, run by the Taylor Family, is located on Bianchini Ranch, which has been MALT protected since 2018. Artisan cheese lovers and butter connoisseurs alike will delight in Bivalve Dairy’s products and their pasture-to-palate philosophy. Bivalve Dairy’s products will be coming onto the market in 2019.

Rossotti Ranch Sausage

Saturday, August 3

Rossotti Ranch, MALT-protected since 2017, offers a unique selection of meat products including goat, pasture raised veal and chicken, some of which you’ll have the chance to sample on Saturday! Julie Rossotti works tirelessly to raise awareness about pasture-raised veal production.

Point Reyes – Olema 4-H Bake Sale

Supporting 4-H programs means supporting what could be the next generation of leaders in agriculture. On this Saturday, Point Reyes and Olema 4-H groups will join forces to offer up an array of homemade baked goods and bubble teas. Support the next generation!

Cow Track Ranch Cooking Salts

Cow Track Ranch, MALT protected since 1987, is home to a cattle ranch and a family-run salts, oil, and soap business. Join us on Saturday to learn more about this family ranch, and buy cooking salts directly from their makers, Melissa Daniels and her father Bruce.
