Hike Information

Please complete this waiver before attending a MALT hike.

Land Acknowledgement

The Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) acknowledges that we work in the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Miwok people of present-day Marin County. We recognize the centuries of attempted erasure, displacement, and genocide these communities have endured and that many inequities exist to this day. We honor with gratitude the land itself and celebrate the ongoing relationship with the Coast Miwok people and their traditional territories. Please refer to MALT’s Land Acknowledgement for further reference on Native Land.

Cancellation Policy

If you or anyone in your party are unable to attend the event, please contact us to cancel the registration in advance of the event. In order to provide the best possible experience we must have accurate information and attendance counts. It is of the utmost importance that we know if you can no longer attend an event, even if it is a free event. This also gives waitlisted guests an opportunity to attend.

Weather Considerations

In the case of extreme or limiting weather conditions, MALT may need to cancel an event. If an event is canceled, MALT will try to reschedule and will contact guests directly regarding updated details.
