Donor-Advised Funds

Giving through your DAF is a convenient way to support farmland preservation in Marin. MALT accepts donations from all DAF agencies, such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and Marin Community Foundation. There are many ways to give from your DAF:

• Make a one-time donation.
• Create a recurring monthly (or quarterly) gift to provide long-term support for farmland preservation and stewardship.
• Protect Marin’s Farmland forever by naming MALT as a beneficiary of your DAF.

What are the advantages of giving through a donor-advised fund?

• Simplicity: the donor-advised fund sponsor handles all record-keeping, disbursements, and tax receipts for you.
