Welcoming a new Director of Conservation!

May 13, 2020

MALT is proud to welcome Kathryn Lyddan into a new role.

Kathryn joined us almost a year ago as the Associate Director of Conservation, Acquisitions, a position to which she brought tremendous skill and strategic thinking. So it is with delight that we announce her promotion to the Director of Conservation role, where we know her leadership and expertise will continue to be assets to the organization.

Kathryn brings a wealth of experience to the team. Before her conservation career began, Kathryn practiced municipal finance law at real estate law firm for ten years. She then jumped into the field of agricultural land conservation as the executive director of the Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust. Most recently, Kathryn served as the director of the California Department of Conservation’s Division of Land Resource Protection, overseeing programs that protect California’s agricultural land.

Please join us in congratulating Kathryn!
