Marin Agricultural Land Trust (MALT) is a 30 year old nonprofit land conservation organization that protects farms and ranchlands in Marin County by acquiring agricultural conservation easements in voluntary transactions with landowners. MALT holds 65 easements on more than 41,600 acres. As the first land trust of its kind, MALT is a model for communities across the nation. MALT has a 16 person professional staff with offices located in Point Reyes Station, California.
